B.Sc. in Petroleum Geology
Education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. We believe in empowering students to easily integrate the professional world.
The Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Geology provides a comprehensive 4-year curriculum designed to prepare students for the energy sector.
- Year 1 establishes foundational knowledge in mathematics, physics, chemistry, basic oil and gas operations, and essential safety protocols.
- Year 2 transitions into subsurface geological mapping, structural geology, GIS, seismic interpretation, and hydrocarbon systems.
- Year 3 focuses on specialized reservoir environments (sandstone and carbonate), petroleum chemistry, and advanced well-logging techniques.
- Year 4 covers advanced topics, including sequence stratigraphy, micropaleontology, geomechanics, borehole imaging, and investment risk analysis.
